What Is Renewable Energy and What Are Its Benefits to Nature?

RENEWABLE ENERGY

Renewable energy sources are the energy sources that come out naturally in the process where natural sources are renewed. In this article, we will discuss the renewable energy sources and their benefits to nature.

Solar Power: Solar power is the largest renewable energy source in the earth. Solar power is generated through solar panels. Use of solar power is a cleaner power source than fossil fuels. Solar energy decreases the carbon dioxide emission and helps decreasing greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere.

Wing Power: Wind power is generated by means of wind turbines. Wind power is used for electricity production and is a cleaner energy source compared to fossil fuels. One of the benefits of wind energy to nature is that it is a non-polluting and renewable source, which does not harm the environment.

Hydroelectric Power: Hydroelectric power is generated by turning the kinetic energy of water into electricity. Hydroelectric power is a reproducible and renewable energy source.

Biomass Energy: Biomass energy is generated from organic wastes and biological materials. Biomass energy is a renewable source that contributes to recycling of organic wastes and decreasing carbon dioxide emission.

Geothermal Energy: Geothermal energy is generated by turning the heat inside the crust into electric energy. Geothermal energy is a renewable energy that decreases carbon dioxide emission and that does not pollute the environment.

Renewable energy sources decrease the use of fossil fuels and benefits the nature. Renewable energy sources help natural sources being protected by reducing environmental pollution and greenhouse gas emission.
